ISO as a platform for global performance

KPC was issued with an ISO Certificate valid from 4th July 2007 – 3rd July 2010. Surveillance audits are conducted by the certification body biannually to verify conformance of the practice and the documented procedures

The Scope of KPC’s ISO Certification covers Transportation Storage and Delivery (Dispensing) of white Refined Petroleum Products, from Mombasa to the Hinterland via a multi-product pipeline.

The Certification is Multi-site which means that all the KPC facilities have met the requirements of the audit standard.

The standard allows organizations to make exclusions in Clause 7 of the ISO Standard; however KPC has not made any exclusion.

KPC has 53 Internal Quality Auditors spread across the entire pipeline network that spans approximately over 900 Kilometers.
