Mombasa – Nairobi Pipeline has 8 Pumping Stations (PS) located at Mombasa (PS-1), Samburu (PS-2), Maungu (PS-3), Manyani (PS-4), Mutitu Andei (PS-5), Makindu (PS-6), Sultan Hamud (PS-7) and Konza (PS-8).
The Western Kenya Pipeline System has 4 pumping stations located at Nairobi Terminal (PS-21), Ngema (PS-22), Morendat (PS-23) and Nakuru (PS-24).
Installed Flow Rates
- Mombasa-Nairobi: - 880 M3/hour.
- Western Kenya Pipeline: - 220 M3/hour.
Storage Capcity
The total storage capacity within the system is 612,233M3 distributed at the depots located at Kipevu, Moi Airport, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi Terminal, Nakuru, Eldoret and Kisumu. The total storage capacity at each depot is as shown below:

Loading Facilities
KPC owns and operates truck loading facilities its depots in Nakuru, Eldoret, and Kisumu and rail loading facilities in Eldoret. At Nairobi Terminal, products are pumped to the adjacent Oil Marketers depot
